A farmer in my neighbourhood

On my way to the station, two minutes away from my house, guess who I bumped into? A FARMER! When the entire Bombay is going nuts over space (or the lack of it), here’s this dude who found a small patch of land and actually started farming on it! If you zoom in, the scene looks straight out of a remote rural area, but it’s actually right in the middle of a bursting suburb. And the best part – it is two buildings away from my house!

Now how cool is that. I have a farmer in my neighbourhood!

There are farms, real ones, right in front of my building and on left side and behind. Oft times, we get our bhindi, radish and some other stuff straight from them.

cool, huh?
