MIRROR goes catty

There’s a cat. I don’t know his name. But I have heard him more than once (yes, he is loud) and seen enough of him, lurking around the newsroom. And the interesting fact here is that no one is interested in throwing him out. He actually walks beneath our chairs, around her feet, looking for leftovers in our dustbins, and all the while, we continue working, but no, nobody wants to throw him out. Girls (read: Sonali Shah from entertainment desk and Sonal Ved from features) freak out when they see him, others (read: me) laugh (at them). But it still doesn’t bother Mr Cat. He goes around, minding his own business. The security is contemplating throwing him out, on a weekend, before we reach. But I will miss him. Mirror would never be the same without him. Catty people? Hmm. Always. But a CAT was what was missing!
