So long, folks!

Okay folks. News hour.

Memoirs from Mumbai will now be taking a break, for at least a year. Why so? Cause I am shifting base and moving to Hyderabad for further studies. I will be pursuing my post grad at the Indian School of Business and the course module is such that it won't leave me any time to explore the ciy. (Hence, memoirs from Hyderabad is not a possibility).

Before we bid goodbye (if only temporarily), we come to the boring part (boring for you FYI, not me). To each person who ever read this blog (even if it was by chance): THANK YOU! When there are a hajaar (probably more interesting) things out there worthy of your attention, you were generous enough to spare a part of it to this page. Thank you. Many of you were generous enough to leave a comment. Trust me, it meant a lot. To the best of my memory, I acknowledged every comment. If I didn't, apologies.

I am not sure where life will take me from here. I might come back to Mumbai. I might not. The thought sure gives goosebumps, but not without a feeling of sadness.

The city is home. Rather much more than home. It's where my grandparents came and settled after India's partition. This is where they started their life from scratch. This is where my Dad begun his career, made a place for himself in this world. This is where my mom came after marriage. This is where I was born. From the corner of a small suburb, we saw this city change, and got changed by it in return. Nooks and corners of this city hold memories, of friendships, of love.

But then, wherever I go, the memoirs shall continue. Each city will hold its share of quirks I am sure. It's only a year's wait. Having said that, it doesn't mean that I wouldn't be blogging at all. Presenting...

The blog (still to be polished) will be about experiences inside the world's 14th best business school. The school boasts of admitting some very talented individuals (have already met some of them, and boy, they are GOOD!) A bunch like this thrown in such close proximity for one gruelling year will make for some good fodder.

Those interested to learn more about campus life in India's premier B-school should follow it.

Until then, this is Memoirs from Mumbai saying goodbye, and good luck!!
